Lead Facilities Engineer in company, responsible for building all

Managed a project team during the initial development of what was then
the world's largest Wind farm. Work Included overseeing the surveying and

stations and support buildings. Supported the negotiations with PG&E,
talked to outside organizations promoting Wind Energy Development.
Senior Project Engineer, US Department of Energy
Managed the design, staffing and project scheduling of a $25 million
Laser Isotope Separation Facility at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories. Work
included selecting an architectural engineering firm, writing and negotiating
a contract, and the ongoing monitoring of the design and construction progress.
Team Leader in the conceptualization phase of a $70 million, third generation
high energy physics project (Stanford Linear Collider). Provided expertise
on the government funding process to the project's Nobel Prize-winning
physicist.
Project/Construction Engineer, MIS Director, Elk Hills Oil Development
Responsible for the planning, design and construction of power distribution,
roads, cathodic protection, railroad spur, product loading and all support
buildings. Scoped conceptual design for oil reservoir flooding system,
fresh water and fire protection systems and tank farms. Was Project Manager
in charge of EPA air pollution studies and reviewed construction contractor
EEO, security and safety requirements. For 18 months, was first director
of the MIS Department. Selected the computer hardware and project management
software, trained personnel on its use and hired support staff.
Construction Acquisition's Coordinator Officer, US Navy
Naval CEC officer coordinating the West Coast military design and construction
program totaling over $100 million annually. Turn key evaluation Team Leader,
chief negotiator and A/E selection team leader as well as construction
office inspection team leader.
Assistant Public Works Director, Marine Corp Air Station, Yuma, AZ
Responsible for the running of a 135 man Public Works Department. Reported
to the Public Works Director who acted as liaison with outside activities.
